We finished the last episode tonight and I give it a bug thumbs up. Disappointed that it’s over; it definitely left me wanting more! I thought I had a pretty good idea of who dunnit to whom, but I was wrong, and delighted to be surprised I LOVED how Jack Quaid provided “cover fire.” And I only recall thinking, “Well, that was convenient,” and rolling my eyes *once*.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Wow! Just wow. What Karen Fukihara did in the episode we saw last night was just amaze balls. Who knew she could do that? Utterly unbelievable.
Or maybe she spent it unconscious and just needed to be rescued.
A very satisfying ending to the series. I do want more episodes. All the Superheroes are terrible people and you feel badly for them. All the heroes are terrible people and you feel badly for them. There is a bit or redemption for some and for others they just continue to spiral downward.

In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Guess who just got back today? Those wild eyed boys that had been away.
The Boys is back for season 2. It's all about psychotic Homelander. He is so good.
It's a lot of setup. Putting the pieces on the board to see where they will go. Lots of ultra-vi. Let's not even talk about the Gecko. Giancarlo Esposito is there to crack the whip on the supes even if he doesn't have the Dark Light saber.

S2 Ep2 More of the Homelander is a dick. Karen Fukihara finally does stuff besides working on her letters. The show still works towards what this season is going to be about. Which could be rescue Butcher's wife.
Lots of really squirmy scenes. Patton Oswalt does indeed make an awkward cameo just like he announced on Twitter.
But it's still building. Still getting ready.

I’m not sure who was more traumatized by Episode 3 of season 2: me, or the character, Hughie. I have less disgusting viscera all over me, but otherwise... wow!

I lost interest in the show. It never seemed to go anywhere. It just scratched at the same area over and over without any resolution.
There was really creepy sex stuff between Storm and Homelander.
The finale does wrap everything up and there was a big surprise, but it's like nothing every changes and everyone is unhappy about their lot in life.
I don't know if I want to watch season 3.

I guess I did watch the finale of Season 2 but I can't remember what that was. Bring back Elisabeth Shue. All that being said, here is the Teaser for Season 3. The cow snippet disturbed me.

Okay. I'm back on board. Mainly because there is a dearth of shows the Queen and I agree to watch. So, here we are.
Ep01 It's a year later. Hughie works for a group catching Super Heroes. Butcher works for Hughie. Homelander is still crazy. And Charlize Theron makes a cameo. Naturally, there are gross out scenes especially the one were Termite crawls up a man's penis. Hughie continues to be bad at being Starlight's boyfriend.
Ep02 It's Homelander's birthday. Starlight is made co-captain of the Seven which does not sit well with Homelander. Hughie learns the secret about his boss. Butcher learns there is a drug to give you super powers for one day. Hughie continues to be bad as Starlight's boyfriend. There is also a reality competition to see who will be the next member of the Seven.

Ep03. The boys continues to be the crudest show on TV. It is also the cruelest emotionally and physically. In this episode we get to learn what happens in Nicaragua with Soldier Boy. Butcher feels the after effects of his use of the 24 hour power drug. Hughie continues to be the worst boyfriend. Starlight continues to get screwed metaphorically and literally. Homelander embraces his inner nut job. All in good fun.
