...18 of them, plus 2 coaches and a handler. The villain kid from Karate Kid is with them (KK2010, not the Sweep the leg, Jonny kid).

They went nuts in our studio. Never has a group had so much fun there. Brought some Beijing Wushu qi in the house.

How many tournaments have you been to already? How much wushu have you seen and shot?

Wushu is an acrobatic sport like gymnastics. The window is very narrow for top level competitors, so the champs are all in their late teens and early twenties.

There is a junior team. I can't remember offhand what the age parameters are...something like under tweens.

There is no senior team. Not in modern wushu.

I got a cool Beijing Wushu shirt. Gigi got a nice tea set of bone china. I was tempted to snag a pic fighting the Karate Kid villain, but got distracted by the female all-around taiji champ.
