Last show of the season can go one of two ways
One is everything is smooth cuz we got it dialed
Two is total chaos because the infrastructure is collapsing

The slugs have been recalled. UCSC decided it was an insurance risk. So it’s just my savage six squad. Fortunately we’ve cobbled enough gear to cover us. Fingers crossed that all goes well.
UCSC also pulled the band trucks parking down by the barn. The trucks cannot make it up to the venue so they gotta park somewhere but not there anymore.
This all came down this week. I found out about the slugs during the pre-show production meeting.
Adding insult to injury, an opening band blew the power grid on stage. We were dark for about a half hour.
Glad I watched spinal tap last night. It set the tone. I’m watching out for the drummers.
