Rooming with the monks was a bit awkward. I was up with my disciple brother Demitri until 3:30 talking Shaolin theory. Demitri is this big black guy who was raised in PRC, is fluent in mandarin and has spent more time with our shifu than any other foreigner. He’s got the deepest understanding of the art.
Today is seminars at the host’s school. Watching a rope dart session now.
My flight is late afternoon with a layover in Vegas.
