Suddenly the plot switches to matrimony as Beryl gets prepositioned for a political marriage to a royal who’s the daughter of one of his classmates (so half his age). In the process, his student Alucia revels her desire for him (she’s also half his age). And there’s a tragic death that hit surprisingly hard because there hasn’t been much death in this previously. Plus a new ad restart emerges, a mercenary group that combines sword and magic lead by a dude who wields a ginormous anime sword.
