Screener unlocked. It was ok, a tad too brooding for me. Poor Spidey. Without Ned and MJ, he's so lonely. There are a few big mcguffins, but I'm told those were leaked. I wasn't paying attention so it was a surprise to me. After seeing Holland, Zendaya & Berenthal in The Odessey, which was mostly practical effects, the cgi animation looked really fake to me, even though it was pretty good (it's the MCU after all).
The height difference between Holland and Zendaya really stuck out to me. Their scenes together are good. They have genuine chmistry obvs.
I watched the last installment on the plane to and from SDCC. Glad I did because this installment is completely in the wake of the previous one. I haven't seen Thunderbolts* so I felt I was missing some story.
So there's this scene where a kid gives Spidey the web-shooting cornu hand sign that reminded me a lot of yesterday's trolley deboarding. That was such a moment of genuine innocent SDCC. It was weird to see something similar on screen and think 'I was there for realz!'
The ninjas of the Hand wear their swords upsidedown. That really annoyed me. Such a dumb oversight.

I love you!’ and gave him a huge hug and we all had to stop a relish in it. So sweet. I get misty just thinking about it now (keep in mind that I’m on about 12 hours of sleep over the last 4 days, and a lot of alcohol. I couldn’t even finish my Guinness last night and then they gave me a Mission Brewery tall that I didn’t even taste cuz DM tapped out.
