Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
About what you'd expect from a biography. I didn't know that Gilliam was a replacement director for Fear and Loathing. Also, I didn't know that the canon Hunter's ashes were shot out of was of his own design.
As documentaries go, it reminded me of The Future is Unwritten about Joe Strummer. I don't know what you can do with a bio/documentary to make it different. I'm Not There was way out there....
