I finished the fixes to the film yesterday and started the upload. The interface promptly started it would take 18 hours. Cool, cool. I checked on the upload before I went to bed and saw it was down to 16 hours. Still on track for a noon finish.
Sigh. Sometime during the night the computer decided it needed to know if I still wanted to upload the file. Son of a bitch. I clicked the two screens. The upload restarted. The upload would note take 44 hours. I figured there was a glitch and would start over after I returned from the dog walk.
When I came back, the new upload time was 16 hours. Okay. I could work with that.
As I have sat here at the computer, for every hour that has passed, the upload has added another hour to how long it will take. The upload will now be finished in 18 hours.
I could drive to Burbank and back several times in that amount of time.
