Today, Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. announced that Gundam, its blockbuster Japanese science-fiction franchise, is landing at San Diego Comic-Con with the "GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam" panel. One of the most influential properties in animation history, Gundam has defined the giant-robot genre for more than four decades, and the panel will feature to-be-revealed guests unveiling the newest chapter. It takes place July 23, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Room 6BCF.

New Gundam Anime Series to Debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Panel

LOS ANGELES, Calif., July 8, 2026 – Gundam is landing at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026. Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. will unveil a brand-new Gundam anime series at the "GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam" panel, backed by a dedicated booth featuring the upcoming Gundam anime, GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, a video game title just announced in June, and a free GUNPLA building workshop on the show floor. Exclusive giveaways await both panel and booth attendees.

Levine Querido Presents: Native American Author Julie Fiveash at SDCC 2026!

Levine Querido is delighted to spotlight author Julie Fiveash and their new debut graphic novel The Froggy Library at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. 
The Froggy Library is a story about grief, Native American heritage, and community archives and librarianship. It tells the story of one important summer in Anura's life -- as they learn about independence and connect with their community, working with their local library to get to know their neighbors and their history as they spend the season with their grandmother.

Julie's interests include Indigenous librarianship, Indigenous publishing, community archives, and drawing animals, plants, fan art, and many things slice-of-life. The Froggy Library is their first graphic novel.
