He did that Amnesty benefit at the Colosseum in the late 80s. I thought he was not that good. He played some stuff from Born in the USA, and it felt almost like he was parodying himself, and the band seemed very ham-handed. The Tunnel of Love material was better; they toned it down some for that.
The only other act I remember at that show was Peter Gabriel. Unfortunately he had Marcus Miller on bass and not Tony Levin. (FYI Tony Levin turned 80 yesterday.)
