Queen of Storms by Raymond E. Feist
Yeah, these books aren't doing it for me. Especially a middle book of a trilogy. This is the book that explains and deals with everything that happened in book 1 while prepping for the big events that might happen in Book 3. Although, I fear there will be a book 4 that I probably will not be reading.
And again, don't have two leading characters named Hava and Hata. It makes hard to keep track. Especially when Hata spent most of book 2 being kidnapped and drug induced. At least Hava did some adventuring. But it all happened really slowly. Lots of chapters of being stuck in the hold of a ship. Meanwhile the blacksmith spends a lot of time riding around trying to get people to join the Baron's army for the big battle coming in Book 3.
Now I did read something that eventually this might all tie back in to the Riftwar Saga. I guess I should expect Pug to show up soon.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
