Nobody 1 & 2

Nobody 2
More of the same - tg is on point with his review. The whole thing is a set up for a showdown in an amusement park, rigged with traps for the hapless masked thugs as the blunder from explosion to explosion. The villain thugs are clad like ICE agents, like modern tactical ninjas, which makes it easy to use the same stunt guys over and over again because it’s hard to tell if there’s dozens of thugs, or just a half dozen getting reused - re-slain - in each scene. 87North delivers the ultravi as always although this one seems less inspired. It had its moments - the sword fight with RZA was amusing. The choreo was mostly simple, accentuated with impact from the cinematography, but not too many long takes. Odenkirk continues to play out the reluctant assassin well. But again, John Wick lite - Hutch even loses a finger like Wick. Satisfying and totally mindless, just plot devices to get to the next bit of ultravi. Sharon Stone was almost unrecognizable as she enters the villainess bitch phase of her career.

I do hope they continue making these. Hutch is a funny & brutal character. Long live Hutch!
