I was hoping there would be a scene in the halftime show where someone was tossing out rolls of paper towels...
I did enjoy the pre-game show with Green Day. Green Day are not particularly great, they have their good songs, and I still have a beef with them about the Marsugi's gig where we were suppose to open for them. It was our most attended show, but they didn't show and as people figured that out, they started leaving...in the middle of our show. Regardless, it's nice to have a local band "make it" (not that they hadn't already made it, like decades ago - When David Spade mocked them on SNL for trying to sound like The Clash.) Was hoping for more social commentary from bay area punks, but they were pretty tame.
