This is not at all what I expected. It’s a comedy centered around the accidental killing of a gang leader by Rita’s mom when he accidentally walks into the wrong house after ripping bong hits in his car before meeting a prostitute that was setting him up to be killing by some hitmen. It opens with a shidi r and a sworn vengeance upon a decapitated head (like what else would be decapitated?) The humor is wacky quirky and from the start, it’s states that it’s all about karma. But it doesn’t fall into place until the very end. There’s no dancing or singing. There are a lot of cold blooded shootings. Almost everyone is shot dead suddenly when they are unarmed. There’s a lot of double crossing. It’s twisty with way too many coincidences, but karma’s like that sometimes. I enjoyed it, although I did make my own intermission halfway through because it needed one.
Not D00M recommended. You gotta be into Bollywood to enjoy this.
