Got to Japantown with a few hours to kill so I walked the mall looking for the right restaurant. Ended up at G Dragon in the East Mall, which was more of a boba place, one of those QR code driven joints, which I’m not fond of, but they had a nice unagi bento, which was small overall but plenty of eel. Yum. G Dragon is a major K-pop star who I don’t follow. There was a lot of K-pop influence in J-town. After that i window shopped at all the anime stores. Lots of Dan Da Dan, Spy v Family, and the usuals like Sailor Moon and Demon Slayer. Found a K-pop Demon Hunters Derpy key chain fob that I almost bought for Tara. Not much Sakamoto Days either. Bumped in Adisa from the morning which was funny. Spent a long time in Kinukiniya books. J-town was packed. I’m eager for the plaza to reopen. And I miss the video store.
