I’m in an intensely hot bath, examining my scars, particularly the insect bites I’ve received lately, like I do regularly irl. I notice there’s a face-like pattern on my left foot. There are two eyes, a feint nose, a clear mouth and a sort of unibrow. As I examine it, it swells to become 3D and more distinct. It starts to tell me to do bad things. I realize it’s a growing problem and start pondering the best way to saw my left foot off.
