I’m even more confused with the return of some characters like mantis shrimp as a random deus ex machina play when the volcano erupts. Momo uses her telekinetic hands to take the corpse of the Kaiju earth wyrm as a hose to extinguish the eruption meanwhile the battle with Evil Eye rages on. But in the end, Okurun is safe. I’m not sure why but rather than go back to try to figure it out, I’m going to press on because I’m enjoying the anime fight visuals.
