Got to SF on schedule. The deadheads are here in force. Picked up my wristband at BGC and checked out the pop up store there which is large and has lots of great stuff but the last thing I need is more dead stuff. One thing is for certain - the boys are making bank. Serious bank. So is anyone in hustling dead stuff. There are banners on the civic center lampposts. It’s glorious.
Got to Tara’s and scored a nice parking spot just up the road. Tara & Bri are recovering from their backpacking trip (Tara got some nasty sunburn on her back) - treated them to their first real meal at Jijime - had the spicy kimchee soup with seafood which was delish. We got back and watched some of the new She Ra which we had all seen, then I convinced them to check out some of the original cartoon, which gave us all some good laughs.
Now I’m in bed with Shiva & Charly (the cats) who know I’m allergic to them so they’re snuggling up like cats do. Ready to crash. Been surfing Facebook and seeing friends arrive and reach out (several deadhead chicks which is kinda weirding me out). We are everywhere.
Tomorrow I’ll start the day with breakfast at Coffee Movement.
