Packed, locked & loaded. Gonna shoot outta default mode deep into reggae land as soon as I free myself from work. Just gotta remember to pack my new camping chair & stickers to tag it. I should grab something for dinner before I leave or I’m stuck with Denny’s. Soon come…soon come…
I’ll probably be among the first to arrive which means I must break ground, secure wristbands & real estate, and soften the landings of others. Several players will be missing - our main Doc, head of self-care & head of kitchen. I have 3 tents to set up, mine trusty $20 Coleman from 2014, Tara’s (actually Stacy’s because Tara forgot to bring her tent to me yesterday), and Michelle’s (my new padawan from yoga). Tara & Michelle land on Saturday. Friday is my run amuck night.
I hope to see Buju, Mike Love, Boostive, Taurus Riley, & Eli-Mac.
Got them pre-fest tweaks. Hope I can get some sleep tonight. Even though I must get up early tomorrow for the YMAA Q1 meeting, I believe a whiskey nitecap is in order…
