Hey, how come this isn't under the Star Wars TV thread?
Watched the 3 episodes of Season two this past week. This covers the rise of digital, the decline of analog models, the expanding competition. A lot of past-tense reflecting, because, as it turns out, they sold off the analog unit and eventually it shut down and this “document” was done as they had a last gasp gathering at the santa rosa facility. They also talk about the Presidio facility.
Lots of talk about the prequels and justifying Jar-Jar, with reasonable arguments, I must say…I an considering going back and rewatching the War of the Worlds remake as they talked about how that was some of their best work ever.
One person they interviewed was a woman named Polly Ing and I was thinking…I used to work with a woman named Polly Ing when I was in SPG at Apple. i didn’t work with her closely, but I knew her. She’s a Director of Product Management at Adobe now. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0408670/
Another person they interviewed was a computer graphic artist that looked a lot like Hiro from the TV Series…because it was! After Heroes, he joined ILM and worked as a CG artist on several films. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1199811/
