I just received Tone of Honor from the library. I am 130 pages in and nothing has happened. What is worse, this book tells the story of events that have already happened in previous novels. He is just telling the story from different people's perspectives. And every chapter so far is mostly two people in a room discussing what happened or what they are going to do. There are a couple scenes with a few more people but not many. There are also a bunch of scenes of one person going through rehab after she regrows a missing leg.
Weber has been like this for a while. When he started his books, were off the charts thrilling Space Opera. I couldn't get enough of them. Now it is about 90% exposition with a bunch of great action scenes to keep you coming back.
I have had enough though with Tone of Honor. I know the story and telling it to me again in a really slow fashion is terrible. This will be my last Weber book.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
