Carpenter does not have a very good voice. Underwhelmed by her. Was amused sometimes, bored sometimes, which is standard for SNL. But it seemed too focused on the more recent past, at the expense of some of the really old and more outlandish stuff. I did like the clip of "best" commercials, although they left out Quarry, the cereal full of minerals. But they did get the Love Toilet and insurance for robot attacks.

I would have preferred just seeing clips. If you have Peacock, there is a multi-part documentary, each episode dealing with one era. That sounds much better.

I saw on Instagram that Anna Gasteyer was friends with Amy Carter and went to the White House for sleepovers. She was also at Camp David during the peace talks. And she said she saw Jimmy watching SNL and cracking up at the portrayal of himself.
