I laughed more than I’ve laughed at SNL in a long time, which actually isn’t saying that much. What a cameo fest. There were definitely some choice moments. And some good nostalgia. Ackroyd was sorely missed. I enjoyed Carpenter & Simon’s duet (they’re both short) but didn’t care for Cyrus & Howard (luv Howard, but Cyrus didn’t emote with that song for me). I’ve seen all four of those performers live. Sandler impressed me and I usually disdain him. DeNiro was seated next to Tiffany Chen, his Taiji instructor and baby mama - I’ve corresponded with her back in the day and hung out with her brother Max who is a sanda champ. Strong’s 'Girl you wish you hadn’t started a conversation with' bit made me laugh the most but that character always worked for me because she’s so relatable. Also liked the In Memorium, the Anxiety vid & Black Jeopardy. I was entertained.
