A tale of Norman.
One of my close friends, my evil twin (same birthday) has been fostering this dog from Afghanistan. Norman is very neurotic due to past trauma. She learned that Norman had bonded with another Afghani refugee dog named Pinko, who was adopted in Santa Cruz. I tapped my social media networks (fb & NextDoor) plus Yuki's dog pack. Pinko (now Malala) has been found. Her owner reached out to me this morning via ND and I passed that along.
They are looking to connect the dogs again soon. I hope to be there for that reunion.
