Not really. It was kinda funny. There would be these side comments that I could call out. Gigi was probably the most prejudice, but that may have been because I worked more closely alongside her.
The Japanese occupation is fresher in the memory of Taiwanese than the Dutch. At least that's my impression from working with that communtiy for so long. Taiwan is a fascinating country. My two days spent in the airport just whet my appetite.
