I put up our outdoor lights right after the election as a flailing effort to bring some cheer into the bungalow. Our outdoor string has been with us for well over a decade now. Every year I replace the burnt bulbs. I have 4 to replace this year, my annual trip to the lighting store.

Today I crawl back to the default world after 24+ hours at FXSF, my last escapist run of this year (might try to squeeze in a December show, but I’ve got nothing planned). At least the default world won’t be as jarring as coming back from Rome. 

I’ve got one long ass telemeet, then work as usual, some writing, and tonight - Skeleton Crew.

Yesterday was restful and now I’m uncomfortably wired. I did not start my expenses like I hoped but I did get most of the heavy lifting done for my FXSF review.  Almost tempted to work on it a bit more since my telemeet isn’t until 10, but I should sleep. Maybe some whiskey will help.
