Pleasant "day in the life" from Yeti liked peeps

my eyes haven't been focusing properly today

tomorrow is a triple telemeet thurs - this might not be something that you all can relate to but my previous two companies were ethnically diverse. i am the only person of color in ymaa. of course, they all follow a taiwanese master, but they don't know what it's like to be the only person to have to take off their shoes when going through the nh airport. for the last horror clown term, the rise in asian hate was palpable. i suspect this time will be worse. i grew up with a lot of that. my daughter, while aware of it, did not. even though sf is a inclusive city, that gives me so much pause...

H is a Germanist and has that perspective you get from knowing that it has been less than 100 years since Civil Rights were rescinded, camps built, lives destroyed...here in the USA and in Germany. The upswing in racism was palpable to her in 2016 and she moved to Germany. I can pass, being what I am,
But she will always be a Black Woman.

My slow-boil anxiety is boiling over now. Too many people I care about are going to be on the firing line
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
