I love all the Bob Marley albums.
That being said, Confrontation has its issues. It was the one released posthumously, compiled out of dangling unreleased tracks and remixed. Perhaps it's that remix that's bothering you, and I get that. It definitely has a more pop sound than his others - too much mix up mix up, ya know? Ironic that this song was included here because it kinda describes the album on the whole. Nevertheless it delivered Buffalo Soldier, one of Bob's chart toppers. And I love the beginning and ending tracks. Now I want to give it a re-listen.
I got the entire remastered Tuff Gong series as a gift for solemnizing Jennifer's wedding.
Glad to hear you completed your set. I hear ya about Babylon by Bus. It's a tinny recording, lacking that bass punch that all reggae deserves. I've got many live CDs, once worth a small fortune, now nearly worthless because it's all available online if you search around enough. But I still cling to them because I'm material that way.
