Wall E
#2
I concur with the glynch. I wound up liking this film a lot more than I thought I would. The film took a sharp left turn in the middle that was very satisfying. Great homages to 2001, Silent Running, Star Wars, et.al. Amazing how far they could go with so little dialog. Better than most actors nowadays. Fred Willard's "stay the course" was hilarious (he never got beyond his Jerry Hubbard character in Fernwood Tonight but that's cool). T laughed her head off. My mom liked it too. My dad seemed to like it. I wondered if it made more sense since there was so little dialog. Great animation style. T & DM still liked KFP more, but W-e was a close second. So far, these are my two fav flicks of the summer rush.

The big bummer was the damn multiplex at Vallco couldn't get their act together and focus the film, so we missed the beginning of the signature Pixar short. The extra bonus was that T walked away with two free Wall-E watches.
