RIP Dov Nadel sensei

Dov Nadel passed on Feb. 1, 2024 in his home in Santa Cruz, CA, surrounded by his daughters, Kiersten and Elana and their husbands and his wife of 34 years, Marilyn Yasmine Nadel.  He was born in 1948 in Milford, Connecticut to Daniel and Shirley Nadel.  He grew up in San Jose and went to San Jose State. Dov Nadel was eldest of three boys. Predeceased younger brother Michael Nadel of Los Angeles and Barry Nadel who currently lives in Israel and Granddaughter Katie Jeanne who lives in Portland.

Dov Nadel was a Naturopath, Healer and Dowser.  He created several natural healing techniques that he taught across the United States.  He was a Japanese Sword Sensei (teacher) for over four decades and was the Head Sensei to his School of Sword and Staff in Santa Cruz.

Dov was a deeply spiritual and passionate man.  He loved connecting with people from all walks of life sharing his love of healing, martial arts, music, gardening, photography and movies. He was a huge 49ers fan and loved cheering on the Golden State Warriors. He loved celebrating the joys of life with family and friends. His bold spirit lives on through family and friends and his entire community holds him deep in their hearts.
