Just watched this. I enjoyed it, but was annoyed that Infinity War introduced changes to the story line since I never saw that one. The vivisection thing disturbed me, and gave me a lot of anxiety since it was of course going to end badly. There were a couple of plot holes I noticed - how did he get all that music from after when he left earth? And that dog would be at least 50 years old. How is that possible? No doubt others, but those stuck out to me. And they left it open for sequels with a new cast.
It also had one of the most common issues in SF - they just assume unlimited energy sources. I suppose this is kind of baked into the genre from it's roots in the era of belief in Progress. CF might have a more astute take on that.
