Regarding the "Hype versus Bodycount", don't go letting facts get in the way of unreasoning, self-involved fear.
The Grrl and I were walking through downtown going from North Beach to, oh, I don't know, The Metreon or someplace and we walked into some of the streets where they were filming. It was a little odd at first, because I noticed the cars (and license plates) of all of the cars that were slowly driving around ("hey, what's with all the big, old American cars and the VW bugs?") and she noticed the clothing ("why are all of these people dressed in vintage clothing?"). We twigged when a film crew came around the corner filming a bus (with an add for PSA on the side! Remember them?).
It was being G-Man for just a minute!
