I should have read your review first. I started this ages ago when it first came to HBO and was getting award hoopla. We watched about the first 1/3 and then Shannon bailed. Tonight, I thought I'd try to finish it. Now I have a drinking problem...(Joking)
It does have a witch character which gives it that Shakespearean tragedy edge.
The priest was a great looking character. I wonder what else he's done.
I would have like a little more traditional music in the soundtrack.
Recommended, but keep your therapists number handy...
