I'm tired of Dr. Wong touching my eyeballs with his tools. Why do I think he tortures me all the while he tells me to hold still and make sure my forehead is pressed against the bar?
I spent a lot of time looking at a really bright white light while the doctor inspected the back of my eyeballs. The damage from the high pressure was minimal but there was still damage. The most disconcerting spot came when the nurse read the pressure on my eyes and determined the pressure to be in the 20s. That was a downer. In the twenties is still bad and about what I had immediately after I started taking the drops and doing the surgery.
Dr. Wong redid the test with more sensitive equipment, which necessitated touching my goddamn eyeball, and the readings were in the 9-11 range. Sigh of relief. I get to go back in two months for more looking at my eyes. I think they are rerunning the tests I had the first time back in December.
