I watched e3 two days ago but didn’t mention it. It was good as always. Diane’s trips get more amusing. The riots keep escalating. There was a football case that grappled with racism and cte. It had an explosive ending. Wallace Shawn gets busted.
E4 began with a warning for viewers who don’t like splattered brains (it actually said that) so Stacy had me watch it first. The splattered brains was shocking because it comes out of no where, and it’s a fantastic plot pivot. We learn more about Da’vid (Holt). Mostly, it’s the end of Eli’s story arc and it’s very touching. Diane, while possibly still tripping, explains the Good Fight in a nutshell. When Eli exits, Marissa worries that she’ll never see him again and seeing how this is the final season, she may be right. Very poignent.
