S1 Ep02 Lots of plot set up. It all came down to getting the widowed king to marry a 12 year old daughter of one his most important supporters. There were a few "that's just disgusting" moments. No big fight scenes but there was a tense standoff on the bridge. Matt Smith's Daemon didn't appear as strong of character in this episode.
The upshot was it was a bit dull but I could sense they were drawing lines for upcoming things.
Did finally realize the actor playing the King's Hand, Rhys Ifans (Thank you IMDB) also played Hugh Grant's daft roommate in Notting Hill.
