I see him nearly every day when he and his wife take their pup Spooky for walkies. We don't chat much but we always wave 'hello'. He's a very amicable guy. Like I said, he gave us his book when he heard we were going. Stacy thinks I should show him my backpacking pix, but honestly, they pale by comparison.
The funny thing is that I went to an open studio of his when we first moved here. The Cruz has an open studio program every month. I'm not sure that he participates anymore. I remember seeing some of his Yosemite pix and thinking 'cool, kind of a Ansel Adams knock off.'
