Okay, I'll tack this on here, because I can't track down the thread where you mentioned the task of coming up with the best Korean action films. There's Old Boy, most notable (action-wise) for the hammer scene. There's the Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance flicks. There's Train to Busan, which I watched and decided all future zombie movies should be made by the Koreans. There's Flu, which I thought was one of the best pandemic films. Not certain how you define "action," whether it needs martial arts. But Train to Busan and Flu have a lot of action.
I thought I would have more input on this. Seen a lot of Korean movies. But I'm not seeing as many of my reviews as I expected when I search Korean. Maybe I just didn't review them.
