He and his wife are really nice. Always smiling and waving. They were very supportive of Chelsea when Buck died. They’ve been on our street forever and knew Buck when he was a kid. I remember admiring his work when I went to his open studio but did not pick up on the Ansel connection. His books looks fascinating.

He was one of Ansel's assistants. I learned from him that if you have a print signed with "-A", it was printed by an assistant. 

He's got a great sense of humor...
