I don’t know what the hell is going on with my shoulder. It’s bad. It’s radiating down my back and my left arm to my hand - a deep dull pain that’s driving me mad.
I’ve been coping with some growing left shoulder pain for several weeks. I haven’t been able to raise my left arm without a pinch.
Maybe I pulled it doing that stretcher carry off the shoreline lawn at Dead & Co #1. Maybe I exacerbated that by donning my weighted backpack on a few of Yuki’s dog park trips.
I’m back on the cyclobenzaprine and plan to up the dosage tomorrow, plus heating pad and stretching exercises. I’ve been ok when horizontal but not right now.
I’ve never experienced pain like this. That’s one of life’s gifts - there’s always new pains to experience. I thought it was improving this morning but it’s taken a turn for the worse tonight. It’s bordering on crippling - I’ve lost most of my strength in my arm now.
Bursitis? A pinched disc? My arthritic neural foramenal narrowing tightening more? It’s been a week now.
I need to reach out to my chiropractor who Ive not seen since the pandemic. Or maybe the big Kaiser.
