Dream of the Red Chamber @ SF Opera

My Father’s Day gift was 2nd row seats on the edge of house right. It was opulent as opera often is - breathtaking costumes and magnificent set pieces. I don’t care for opera sung in English though. I still needed the supertitles to understand it all because opera singers punctuate and emphasize what they are singing oddly. 

I read this book long ago as it is one of the four classics of Chinese literature and I had read the other three. This is the only non-martial classic. I hardly remember it at all.
