Doom Dreams

[Drunk Monk]

I'm traveling on some sort of motorized vehicle, maybe a skateboard or scooter, way out in East San Jose. There's a moment when I think I'm at Victory watching Tara make a foil - somewhat of an incongruent multiverse blip in this dream but it qualifies it as a D00M dream because of Victory's proprietor. Then I'm back at some unusual shop with an old geezer at the counter of some sort of backwater bodega. He has many swords and knives in his display counter. I'm admiring them and he catches my eye and opens the case to let me handle one - it's a homemade sgian-dubh with a loose blade made of sharpened abalone shell and a rather thick handle, too wide for my hand. I comment that he has big hands and he smiles acknowledgingly. I notice another table that has some swords in components - one is sort of katana like but with a more lightsaber like hilt. Another has a scabbard shaped like a mermaid. I head out and see that there are miles of dirt road to get back to wherever I'm going from East San Jo. There's a woman next to me but I don't know her. I ask her to accompany me because I'm not sure where I am going and if my motorized skateboard/scooter will make it. 

I wake up very confused.
