There was quite a lot about women drummers not getting props, but didn't take the narrative into the history of women drummers (eg Karen Carpenter) which seemed silly. They talked about great/influential rock drummers like Ringo, Watt, Baker, Moon and Bonham, but not Peart or Bruford (who played with Yes, Genesis AND King Crimson). They talked about electronic drums in the 80s, but not about Gabriel/Collins highly compressed drums that became the other 80's drum sound. They spent too much time following a lesser known drummer as she shopped for a drum set for the later drum-off sequence. The drum off sequence was boring. I'm not a fan of drum solos. Chad Smith's was particularly annoying, but also the only one who threw in something interesting. He did a "talking drum" bit by putting his elbow on the drum head and increasing/decreasing the tension. That was pretty cool.
Taylor talks about the moment he figured out a drummer and how that moment in time was going to stick with him the rest of his life...sad.
