WFH as usual... our inclusion & diversity group, along with the AsianPacific group did a "Fireside Chat w/John Cho" where he discussed his new book: "Troublemaker" about a 12-year old Korean-American boy in the middle of the Rodney King LA Riots.

Sadly, I had another meeting that was moved and ended up conflicting with this one, so I was listening to each meeting in a different ear which got confusing at times.
He spoke on video call from his kitchen in LA. He's very well spoken, and seems very approachable. I think he still had some product in his har from Cowboy Bebop as a tuft was sticking straight up on the side of his head.
We were asked to submit questions via chat for the Q&A sessions. Most were just calling out where they were watching from, saying "Hi", quoting White Castle, etc. Since the topic went to some of his old roles, I asked if he'd ever seen a Season 2 script for the series FlashForward which I enjoyed, but it was canceled before the story resolved. Lots of people chimed in that they loved that series. The moderator never asked any of the submitted questions, but it was a good chat anyway.
Some portion of the attendees will get a free copy of his book. I'm not sure whether I get one or not.
