This year, I got my dad on of those musical cards. It played the Stones "Time is on my side". My dad's jaw dropped when it started playing music. He had this huge surprised grin on his face. That one got through the aphasia for sure. Sometimes it's like blindfolded archery - I just keep lobbing arrows until one finds its mark.

Stacy made a lovely dinner for Father's day and we invited my folks over. It was very pleasant.
