We also had a medical PoA but I'm not sure if that's necessary. No one ever asked about it. Now's also the time for the POLST form (and End of Life Directive?). Writing that makes me think that the medical PoA might be to take care of end of life issues.
I assume title to her house is held by the trust? If not, you'll need to do that or you'll get hit with probate.
