My mom got a notification letter that the branch where she has a safe deposit box is closing. We were going to go by today but discovered it has already closed even though the final date is Nov 1. There was no option in this letter for her to call and my mom doesn't do internet, which would screw just about anyone in her generation like her. I've booked an appointment at the closest branch, and through some web research, found a help line. I'm on hold now and the operator researches this situation.
