Kylo Ren is an edgy comedian. Marion Cotillard is an opera singer. They are lovers - their sex scenes are explicit yet reveal nothing but Kylo’s butt. Wolowitz is Cotillard’s piano accompanist. It’s an artsy musical and it’s 2.5 hours long. Kylo and Marion give birth to a puppet. It’s surreal.
Technically it’s got some good stuff - some one-ers, some swirling cinematography, a few very impressively shot scenes.
But it tries too hard. Too much discussion of ‘art’ and artsy navel gazing, and Kylo can’t sing. I’ve decided I only like Kylo in comedies. And this is a tragedy. One many levels.
No sword fights. Not DOOM recommended, although cf & Greg might find it technically interesting.
