We'd started the first episode (or maybe just the trailer) a long while ago and Shannon was not compelled. She was under the impression that it was the same story as Inside Man. I was going to watch it on my own, but we tried it again and got hooked. We've been doling out the episodes for weeks. I am really glad that we had this for the summer entertainment gap. We just finished Season 4. I was thinking that since Seasons 1-2 were "the first story", that Seasons 3-4 would be "the second story", but no...another cliffhanger and now we have to wait for September for Season 5.
At least we have the "behind the scenes" doc still in the queue.
I've found it really engaging from the beginning. Funny bits, sad bits, exciting bits. Really a well done series. I've enjoyed the music too. I think there's a surf-track from the last or second-to-last episode from a great surf band from Madrid: Los Tiki Phantoms. I can't tell tho as the song lists that I've found for the series don't seem to list the incidental music. I'm going to keep researching that, but for now, I leave you with a Los Tiki Phantoms video
