2 eps in. I’m liking it. A lot hinges on Gus and the kid delivers well enough. The pandemic metaphor is really working for me, along with the blame cast on marginalized - perhaps this hits harder for me because I can relate to being part of a marginalized race blamed for the pandemic. The effects and overall design are satisfying. The post-apocalyptic world is being cleaned out adequately.
I wanted a bit more from the sword scene in ep1. Forte is better in serious roles than I would've anticipated, but not brilliant.
In e2, I like how the Big Man is developing. Dr. Singh’s arc has potential as well as the zoo gal. I’m optimistic that this will be entertaining. Not clear about how mercenary the world has become yet.
I’m in for a few more eps - maybe the whole thing.
